I brought in my Chevy trailblazer in to have ignition coils replaced. I stated it went bad while I was sitting at a light idling, 80k low mileage car. Was told would not do anything until it has a full compression check for bad cylinders. Bottom line.. replaced two coils and charge me $600. Was quoted from another shop the following day 575. to replace all six. SHOP YOUR REPAIR AROUND! I got burned.
Thank you for expanding on your frustration - we always appreciate hearing from our customers, no matter the situation or outcome. I would like to clarify a few things: -When you brought us your vehicle, all we knew is that it was running poorly; that you had recently installed new plugs; and that the situation wasn't resolved. We set out to determine the cause. Our compensation included the labor, scan, and diagnosis for your vehicle, ultimately leading to the necessary replacement for those two coils. (We did partially roll up this labor into the repair itself.) -We are a NAPA Autocare facility, and we stand behind the parts we sell. Your coils have a 3 Year/36,000 mile warranty. We use parts that we trust will keep vehicles on the road - this is always top priority. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us at (504)455-3062. Again, we value our customer relationships sincerely.
